If your membership isn’t scanning or allowing access, it’s usually due to one of the following reasons:
🔑 Common Reasons
💳 Payment Issue (Most Common)
- Your latest payment may not have gone through
- Memberships run on automatic renewal, so if a payment fails:
- Your access is temporarily suspended
- The system will continue retrying the payment
⏸️ Membership is Frozen or Inactive
- Your membership may be:
- Frozen (by request)
- Cancelled
- Not yet started
👤 Account or Access Issue
- Your account details may not be linked correctly to your access card/app
- You may be logged into the wrong account (if using the app)
🔄 Scanner / Entry Issue
- Occasionally the scanner may not read your access properly
- Try again once, ensuring your code/card is positioned correctly
✅ What to Do
🏋️ At the Gym
- Speak to a staff member at reception
- If no one is at the desk, ring the bell and a staff member will come assist you
📱 Check Your Account
- Log into the BLCK Gym app or website
- Go to Account / Membership Details
- Confirm your membership is active and your billing is up to date
